Please share widely among your colleagues and networks that the Minnesota Department of Health is seeking applicants for a full-time Public Health Social Worker Specialist in Reflective Practice.  This national search will accommodate practitioners currently licensed in other jurisdictions and who would become licensed by the Minnesota Board of Social Work just prior to being hired.

The ideal candidate will join a dynamic team of state planners, advisors, trainers and epidemiologists who are committed to enhancing community capacity to provide evidence-based family home visiting services grounded in the principles of reflective practice.

This position, located in St. Paul, will work closely with our current Reflective Practice Consultant to provide specialized social work services to supervisors and home visitors in home visiting programs throughout Minnesota. This specialized mentoring and consultative support is a relational model that is strength-based, solution-focused and reflective, and which parallels the relationship-focused work with at-risk families and their very young children.
