Resources for Immigration-Related Stressors
With the uncertainties and challenges many families and communities are facing with immigration and deportation risks, the ILAIMH seeks to support programs and agencies working with families experiencing these major stressors.
For decades, research has shown that when caregivers and families experience recurrent stress, it has a direct impact on the social emotional development of infants and young children.
Anything caring professionals can do to offer both concrete resources and emotional support are important protective factors in the lives of families and young children. Below are some websites that offer many resources and several handouts from Start Early.
We hope this information is helpful. If you have additional resources to share, please reach out to submissions@ILAIMH.org
Thank you for all you do to support families and young children!
